Richmond Hearing Consultants, as the clinic has been known since the 1980"s, started out in the 1960's as Robertson Optical and Hearing - the first company to offer hearing aid services in Richmond. Long-term Richmond residents and long-term clients still recall those early years and still remember those first clinic team members and the high level of service standards. Hearing Aid technology has improved exponentially over the years, but the tradition of excellent client care coupled with the best technical products available has continued from one decade to the next.

At Richmond Hearing Consultants our goal is to continue to earn your trust and loyalty by working with you to achieve your best hearing.

Sandy Bichard, M.A., Clinical Psychology, BC-HIS*
*Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences

Licensed Hearing Instrument Practitioner

One of the perks of growing up in the same community where my clinic is located, is the pleasure of meeting up with former neighbors, teachers, and parents of school friends, and in recent years, former classmates who come to Richmond Hearing Consultants for hearing health care services. As I believe it is my responsibility to give back to a profession that gives me so much, I actively volunteer with provincial and national professional associations, and provincial regulatory authorities. Current and past positions include: Director, College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of B.C.; Director and Past President, Hearing Instrument Specialists Society of B.C.; Past Vice-Chair, Board of Hearing Aid Dealers and Consultants of B.C.; Chair, Canadian Hearing Instrument Practitioners Society; Committee Member, International Hearing Society. Credentials and continuity you can trust!

Winnie K. Wong, B.A., Speech Sciences,

Licensed Hearing Instrument Practitioner

I love my work. In the process of helping our clients, I also learn from their life experience. They teach me so much." A life long student, Winnie also completed a certificate program in working with an aging population. Winnie brings 20 years of customer service experience from the travel, food, and audio-visual technical industries to her work in hearing healthcare. Many of our clients are delighted that Winnie can speak with them in fluent English, Mandarin, or Cantonese and even a little Japanese or French. Winnie would be delighted if her clients would teach her basic phrases in other languages as well!
